Nevada Division of Museums and History

As part of Paleontology Awareness Month the Lost City Museum will be hosting a presentation by Josh Bonde, a PhD candidate from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas Department of Geoscience, entitled “Life through Time in Southern Nevada.”  Bonde has conducted fieldwork throughout Nevada, including excavating dinosaur fossils at the Valley of Fire State Park. The presentation will be on April 23, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. Come learn about the paleontology of Nevada and what it takes to be a paleontologist. You may also bring in fossils and have them identified by Bonde.
