Our administrative office is open Tuesday through Sunday, 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM (except for Januarys when our office is open Tuesday through Friday). Our TICKET OFFICE is open Saturdays and Sundays from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM. Excursion Train Rides are on Saturdays and Sundays throughout the year, except for January when we are closed for maintenance.

In 2013, we WILL be open the weekend after Thanksgiving (Saturday and Sunday, November 30 and December 1) and the weekend after Christmas (Saturday and Sunday, December 28-29).
Ride the Train on the Historic Tracks of 1931 2013 TRAIN SCHEDULE Excursion train rides depart every Saturday and Sunday (except January) from the Nevada State Railroad Museum, Boulder City Depot (off of Yucca Street). The train travels approximately seven miles round trip along the historic Boulder Branch Line to Railroad Pass, located within the River Mountain Range. The trip is approximately 40 minutes in duration. Passengers will be able to ride in refurbished, enclosed, air-conditioned/heated, Pullman Coaches, which date back to 1911. For those passengers who prefer the fresh air, we offer an open-air coach. In addition, we have an ADA/handicapped coach with a lift for wheelchairs or passengers needing additional assistance in boarding. The Excursion Train Ride is available every Saturday and Sunday (except for January). DEPARTURE TIMES: Saturdays and Sundays (Please note: Trains do not operate in January.) 10 AM, 11:30 AM, 1 PM and 2:30 PM SATURDAY AND SUNDAY TICKET PRICES: Adults (12 years and older) $10 Reservations are NOT required to ride the train on Saturday and Sunday. Cab rides are available on our regularly scheduled runs for $35/person. Please no children under 6. All children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Reservations are recommended. We offer special runs for schools and groups of 25 or more on Thursdays and Fridays. The rate for school groups is $5 per person (one year of age and older). Non-school group rates on Thursdays and Fridays is $7/adult, $5/child (ages 1 through 11). There is a minimum $125 charge to cover fuel costs.
