The Lost City Museum will host a free Kids Archaeology Day from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 19. Budding archeologists are invited to learn the process of archaeology by participating in a mock excavation and learning to analyze the artifacts they find.  Students will learn about phase of an archaeological investigation from a professional archaeologist in a hands-on way, from the excavation to the analysis phase. The Lost City Museum is open Thursday through Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  Admission is $5; children and members enter free.  The museum is located at 721 S. Moapa Valley Blvd. in Overton, Nevada on State Route 169 off I-15, exit #93 or via Lake Mead or the Valley of Fire.
