Our newspaper collections vary in format from unbound single issues and bound full runs to microfilm. Access to orginal newspapers is restricted. This is necessary in order to properly preserve the collection. However, copies are available on microfilm. To view originals, permission must first be obtained from the Curator of Collections or the Curator of Manuscripts. Guide to the Newspaper Collection [84 kb]

The picture to the left is an example of a single issue of the Las Vegas Review Journal. This paper dates from 1953. The image of this newspaper has been "photoshopped" and the actual paper is not torn.
