Open Wednesday - Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years Due to mandatory state budget restrictions, the museum is closed Sunday - Tuesday.

Due to major budget reductions by the Nevada State Legislature, the Board of Museums and History increased admission fees effective March 2010 to help support our museums.

Volunteer tour guide training, September 15, 16, 22, & 23 will focus on a brand new curriculum, Project Archaeology: Investigating Shelter. The program includes a Chautauqua presentation on Sarah Winnemucca and presentations by Native American master artists, Mike Willams and Marlin Thompson.
The four-day training session including all materials is offered free of charge. No experience necessary.
