Click for a map of 600 Yucca Street The 2nd Great Train Robbery is scheduled for September 25 and 26, 2010, at 10 AM, 11:30 AM, 1 PM, and 2:30 PM. Tickets will be available for purchase in advance starting August 21 on Saturdays and Sundays ONLY at our Ticket Office (9:30 AM to 2:30 PM). Fares are $10/adult (12 and older); $5/child (4 through 11); and no charge for children under 4 years of age. Additional information is also available at the website for the Nevada Southern Railway.
Our office is open Tuesday through Sunday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Excursion Train Rides are on Saturdays and Sundays. Ride the Train on the Historic Tracks of 1931 2010 TRAIN SCHEDULE Excursion train rides depart from the Nevada Southern Railway Museum, Boulder City Depot (off of Yucca Street), and travel seven miles round trip along the revitalized historic Boulder Branch Line to Railroad Pass located within the River Mountain Range. The trip is approximately 45 minutes in duration. Passengers will be able to ride in refurbished, enclosed air-conditioned/heated Pullman Coaches, which date back to 1911. For those passengers who prefer the fresh air, we offer an open-air coach; and we have an ADA/handicapped coach with a lift for wheelchairs or passengers needing additional assistance. The Excursion Train Ride is available every Saturday and Sunday (except for Januarys). DEPARTURE TIMES: Saturdays and Sundays 10 AM, 11:30 AM, 1 PM and 2:30 PM TICKET PRICES (effective March 27, 2010) Adults (12 years and older) $10 Reservations are NOT required to ride the train. Our 2010 season runs through December 2010. We will be closed Christmas Day, December 25. Santa Train in 2010 will run the first two weekends of December -- December 4, 5, 11 and 12. The fare is $4 per person. No strollers are allowed on the train. Infants in car seats occupying a seat on the train will be required to have a ticket. Only infants under one year of age and held by parents are free of charge.
